About Costco Tire Service Center

Located at 995 Blue Gentian Rd, Eagan, MN 55121, Costco Tire Service Center operates as a tire shop serving Eagan in Minnesota. This page gathers the practical details people usually look for before visiting: where it is, how to reach it, when it opens and how customers rate it.

Tire shops sell and install new tires, patch punctures, balance wheels and, at most locations, align the suspension. Prices are quoted per tire plus mounting, balancing, valve stems and a state disposal fee for the old set; many shops price-match and include free rotation and flat repair for the life of the tire. Used tire shops sell inspected take-offs for a fraction of the price of new ones, useful for an older car or a single replacement, but check the tread depth (4/32 inch or more) and the DOT date code, since rubber ages even on the shelf. Mobile tire services come to your driveway or the roadside, commercial shops handle semi, trailer, farm and off-road tires, and wheel shops repair and refinish bent or curb-scraped rims.

The business lists hours on 7 days of the week. On most of those days it is open 10 am–8:30 pm. As with most places, expect changes around holidays; the phone number below is the fastest way to confirm. The listed phone number is (612) 439-8072. Many businesses also reply to text messages on the same number if it is a cell phone. Its website is costco.com, where you may find menus, price lists or booking options.

Its Google rating stands at 3.1 out of 5 from 27 reviews, which is below average for the category; consider the recent reviews carefully before visiting.

Eagan is in Minnesota, in the Midwest, where summers are warm, winters are cold and snowy, and most errands are done by car; businesses keep steady year-round hours with the usual holiday changes. US addresses list the street number and name, then the city, state abbreviation and ZIP code, and Eagan follows the same pattern; a suite or apartment number such as Ste 200 refers to a unit inside the building. The map link on this page shows the exact spot.

Had bought tires here, came back to get a simple flat fixed on tires that I bought here. Costco warranties the tires and fixes flats for free right? Nope. As soon as the guy started talking he's going to scam and gaslight me with every skeezy trick in the book. "tire can't be fixed". "every place will tell you the same thing!" starts pushing visual imagery for parts on my car that I know my car doesn't have. Tells me that costco policy is that they will force you to throw out all 4 tires and replace them if you have a flat - throwing out a thousand dollars worth of tires. It goes on and on. You can tell every employee has been trained to push the scam as they all start repeating the same stock phrases. Next day I lookup michellin approved tires shops and take it to the nearest one. 15 minutes and they've fixed my tire and I'm good to go. "Just a small nail in the tire easy to fix".

I’ve had good luck with these folks. Ordered new tires for both my and my wife’s car. Had various leaks fixed. Today dropped off for a slow leak. I always worry about getting the dreaded β€œwe can’t fix that and you need all new tires” call. Today it was a text that said car was ready about 30 minutes after dropping it off and paying around $3 for a stem. All fixed, all great. Friendly and helpful. Thanks!

Word to the wise, if you have snow tires and regular tires (even mounted on separate rims, as mine are), they want 40 bucks to switch them. Discount tire does it for free. Costco will balance them for free, in which case they still have to pull them off the vehicle and put them back on again, so same amount of work, but 40 bucks to switch. I spent $1200 between my two sets of tires and the fact that they want 40 bucks to switch them twice a year is BS. Especially considering winter tires are softer rubber so you need to replace them more often, meaning more business for them. It's asinine. Do better Costco. I'll never buy tires at Costco again unless they change the policy.

Listen to the low reviews! I wish I did. I will never come back to this Costco. I recently purchased 4 tires from their Eagan location. Installation went great. I came back a week later for a torque check this is where all my issues began. First I asked a tire employee what I need to do to get a torque check and was given an attitude whilst told to just β€œgo over there”. 2 guys come and do a torque check for me. I went to get Costco gas and noticed my hub cap broken. The employee broke my hub cap, took the broken piece, didn’t tell me about it, and left. I went to speak to the tire center supervisor who was kind and offered to purchase a replacement cap. The supervisor spoke to the employee and I was told that β€œthe employee is newer and we let him know that he needs to bring things up like this”. I’m sorry but this was an intentional act and there were 2 GUYS who were complicit in this with no apology. I leave and noticed now my tire pressure sensor going off for that specific tire with the broken hub cap. I come back and ask if someone can double check that nothing else is damaged. I was told I needed to wait ~2 hours? This now has wasted 3 hours of my day. I asked the tire emplo

Had a tire on back of vehicle that had a nail in it, stopped and had the nail removed and a plug installed, at another gas station. few weeks later went in to Costco have the tires rotated. They saw the plug and said that they would replace the tire, it’s a front wheel drive vehicle and the tires are barely worn, ordered the new tire because they said they wouldn’t honor the warranty if I just left the plug in and rotated tires. So tires were rotated rear tires to front and front tires to back. So the tire with the plug was now on the front. Stopped by to get the new tire installed. Told the person at desk that the tire with the plug is front right, replace tire and put new tire in its place, they said it’s there policy to put new tires to the rear, told them tires were just rotated so can’t put the current rear tire to the front because it was just removed from the front to the rear a week earlier. Person at desk wrote on paperwork to put tire on front. they pulled the rear tire off moved it up front and put the new tire on rear, they could have cared less what I wanted. So now I have a tire on the front that’s already been on there for 10,000 miles and I have to go back a t
